Eight major extant carnivorous baramins, or kinds as claimed by postcreationists at Answers in Genesis. Each of these kinds is thought to have been represented by a single pair of animals that departed from Noah’s Ark less than 4500 years ago. Within the postcreationist view of evolutionary history, these kinds do not share common ancestry with each other
